Product Description

The NINO17Y-BK is a bongo made from durable ABS plastic with replaceable natural heads, sized 6.5" and 7.5". It's lightweight and tough, with a sound close to full-size instruments despite its slightly smaller format. A great choice for kids and young players getting started with drumming.

• Lightweight thanks to ABS plastic construction
• Rounded metal rims for comfortable playing
• Replaceable natural heads that can be tuned
• Tuning key included
• Replacement heads available separately

Materials and Construction

The shells are made from ABS plastic, a material that's both light and hard-wearing for everyday use. The heads are natural material and replaceable, with rounded metal rims for better playing comfort. The finish is yellow with black rims.

Tuning and Care

The heads can be tuned using the included tuning key, and can be replaced if damaged. Replacement heads for the NINO17Y-BK are HEAD-NINO-65 (for the smaller drum) and HEAD-NINO-75 (for the larger one).

Who It's For

The bongo is recommended from age 5 and is designed specifically for children, without being a toy. NINO Percussion makes real musical instruments sized and shaped for young players, offering the same sound quality and function as their adult counterparts. The instruments are developed in Germany with a focus on safety, durability, and musicality, and work equally well at home or in early music education settings.
