Djembe in rubberwood, 10" head diameter, natural finish. Easy to tune with goatskin head and powerful sound, sized for kids from age 5.
Product Description
The NINO48NT is a rubberwood djembe with a hand-selected goatskin head, 10" in diameter and 53 cm (21") tall. It's easy to tune and produces a surprisingly big sound for its size, making it a great fit for kids taking their first steps into drumming.
- Hand-selected goatskin head, easy to play with a big sound
- Rounded metal hoops for better playing comfort
- Easy to tune thanks to a simple hoop/rod construction
- Tuning key included in the delivery
- Natural finish that shows off the wood's own grain
Built to handle kids' hands
The shell is made from rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.), a dense and durable timber that can handle daily use in preschool, school, or at home. The rounded metal hoops keep the drum comfortable to play even during longer sessions.
Who It's For
The NINO48NT is designed for kids aged 5 and up. This isn't a toy instrument. NINO® Percussion builds real musical instruments sized for children, with the same focus on sound and function as their adult-sized counterparts. The difference lies in size and color, not in musicality.
About NINO® Percussion: the series is designed in Germany with the goal of giving children access to real, well-functioning instruments from an early age, supporting motor skills, concentration, and musical development.
