Product Description
The NINO555 is a classic guiro made from rubberwood, offering a wide range of sounds depending on how you stroke the stick along its ridged body. It's a valuable addition to any percussion setup, whether played solo or in a group.
By varying pressure and speed as you run the included wooden stick along the guiro's ridges, you can produce everything from short, sharp accents to longer, rolling textures. That makes it both fun to explore and rewarding to practise rhythm with.
Materials and Build
The instrument is made from rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.), a durable, natural material that gives the guiro its characteristic, warm sound. A wooden playing stick is included.
