Nino percussion African NINO-ADJ3-S 8" - Brown/Black

Product Description

The NINO-ADJ3-S is a rope-tuned djembe drum in traditional African design, built for children but crafted with the same care and sound quality as instruments made for adults. The shell is carved from solid mahogany and headed with hand-picked goat skin, giving it an authentic, warm djembe tone in a size made for smaller hands.

The drum is part of the NINO® Earth Rhythm Series and is designed in Germany with a focus on safety, durability and genuine musical quality. This is not a toy. The shell is hand-carved from plantation-grown mahogany, and the head is tensioned using high-quality PP nylon rope in traditional rope-tuning style. The finish is brown/black.

With a head width of 8" (20 cm) and a height of 15 3/4" (40 cm), the NINO-ADJ3-S is sized for children from age 4 to play seated, held between the knees or in the lap.

Who It's For

A great choice for children taking their first steps into rhythm and drumming, at home or in preschool and school settings. Learning to play and create music early on supports motor skills, focus and confidence. And NINO® Percussion instruments are built to sound right and hold up to everyday use.
