Metal Mania EZX

Product Description

Metal Mania EZX is a sound expansion for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3, created by drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) and engineer Chris Rakestraw (Megadeth, Deftones, Parkway Drive). Recorded at Studio A at the famed One On One Recording Studios in Los Angeles, it features three unique kits, a wealth of snare drums and kicks, and over 30 cymbals.

The room is massive-sounding, warm and vibrant, yet tight and aggressive. A sound that has defined records such as Megadeth’s "Rust in Peace," Metallica’s "…And Justice for All" and "Black Album," Dream Theater’s "Awake" and Testament’s "The Ritual."

Each of the three kits represents its own niched sound: one covers Dirk’s current touring setup, one comes from his tenure in Soilwork, and one was handpicked for a completely contrasting tone and vibe. Together they span a broad but balanced palette, from loud, aggressive and punchy to big, low and warm. One complete kit was recorded using an alternative set of coated drum heads.

What's included
