Meinl wood bongos in Siam Oak, 6.75"+8", with buffalo skin heads for a traditional, warm sound. Bag, tuning key and oil included.
Product Description
The Meinl Wood Bongos WB200NT-G is a pair of traditional wooden bongos made from Siam Oak with hand-selected buffalo skin heads. The solid wood block between the two drums gives a classic, warm bongo sound and an authentic look.
The 6.75" (hembra) and 8" (macho) shells are joined in a solid wood block, which gives both stability and the distinctive tone associated with traditional wood bongos. The hoops are 2 mm SSR and tuned with 8 mm tension rods, and the hardware is gold-plated for an upscale look in a high gloss natural finish (High Gloss Natural).
Included in delivery are a carry bag, a tuning key and Tune Up Oil for head maintenance. Should the heads need replacing, matching replacement heads are HEAD-38 (6 3/4") for the smaller drum and HEAD-39 (8") for the larger one. A matching bag for storage and transport is the MBB-BK or MSTBB1.
