Meinl Percussion Turbo Medium - Black

Product Description

The Meinl Turbo Cabasa Medium is a stainless steel cabasa with built-in sound holes for extra clarity and volume. It features a wooden handle with a padded grip for comfortable playing and makes a great addition to any percussion setup.

• 5 sound holes on each side of the cylinder for more volume and a clearer attack
• Cylinder (the cabasa's body) made of stainless steel
• Steel chain wraps around the cylinder to create the cabasa's characteristic rattle
• Wooden handle with padded grip for a comfortable, secure hold
• Also available in Small and Large sizes

Construction and Sound

Meinl's Turbo series is defined by sound holes leading into the cabasa's sound chamber, giving a more open and clearer tone compared to a fully closed cylinder. The steel chain rests against the stainless steel cylinder to produce the classic cabasa rattle, while the padded wooden handle keeps the instrument comfortable to hold during longer playing sessions.

Who It's For

Great for percussionists and drummers who want to add a rhythmic, textured layer to songs and arrangements. From studio recording to live performance.
