Meinl Sonic Energy Grey Agate Meditation Chime, A-Major 50" - Grey Agate

Product Description

The Meinl Sonic Energy Grey Agate Meditation Chime is a 50" tall wind chime made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, tuned to A Major at 432 Hz. It's suited for meditation, relaxation, and therapy work, but also works beautifully as a decorative piece in the garden or at home.

• Deep, resonant sound with a long sustain
• Tuned to A4/a' 432 Hz in A Major
• Adjustable pendulum controls the number of strikes
• A decorative agate stone finishes the cord
• Weather-resistant finish, made from corrosion-resistant aluminum

Sound and Tuning

The chime is tuned based on A4/a' 432 Hz, in A Major with the notes A4, B4, C#5, E5, F#5, and A5. The result is a clear, bright sound with a long, soft decay that fills the surrounding space and suits relaxation and meditation.

Function and Care

Trigger the sound by gently tilting the cord to the side so the pendulum strikes the chime. Under the pendulum in the middle is an adjustable clamp: the higher the pendulum is positioned, the fewer strikes occur, and moving it all the way to the top stops the sound completely. The instrument is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum with a UV- and weather-resistant finish, but it can still rust after more than a year of continuous outdoor use, so it should be kept away from direct exposure to weather. The agate stone is natural, so its shape and color may vary slightly between units.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a decorative, calming sound piece for meditation, therapy, or yoga. Or simply a beautiful sound accent in the garden or at home.
