Product Description
The Meinl Slap-Top Cajon TOPCAJ2WN is a T-shaped cajon designed to be played standing between your knees, with the bass port facing outward toward the audience. The front plate is walnut and the sides are made from eco-friendly fiberboard, and thanks to internal snare wires on both sides of the striking plate it can convincingly mimic both conga and bongo sounds.
- T-shaped cajon with outward-facing bass port
- Walnut front plate
- Eco-friendly fiberboard sides
- Internal snare wires on both sides of the striking plate
Sound and Playability
The internal snare wires give this cajon a wide range of sounds, letting it simulate both conga and bongo tones. You don't need to be an experienced conga player to enjoy it, but if you've picked up some slap technique, you'll get even more out of it.
Who It's For
A great choice for percussionists who want more variety from a single cajon, or for drummers looking to expand their percussion setup with an instrument that can cover multiple roles.
