Product Description
The Meinl Pure Alloy Custom 19" Medium Thin Crash is a German-made crash cymbal in Pure Alloy alloy with a medium-dark sound character and a wide dynamic range. It pairs a shimmering smoked-bronze top with a brilliant bottom finish, making it a great fit for rock, pop, fusion, R&B, reggae, or studio work.
The Pure Alloy Custom series is made with computer-controlled hammering, giving a consistent yet lively sound across the line. This 19" crash has a Medium Thin weight and a wide dynamic range, with volume sitting at medium to low and medium sustain. Pitch is low to mid.
Sound Character
The tone is complex and full-bodied, with a shimmering top register that sits like sparkling crystals over a deeper, core-heavy register. The cymbal responds quickly, making it musical and easy to play with clear dynamic nuance.
Who It's For
Great for players in rock, pop, fusion, R&B, reggae, or studio settings who want a crash with a darker, medium character rather than a bright, aggressive tone.
