19" Meinl Pure Alloy Medium Crash Cymbal - Traditional

Product Description

The Meinl Pure Alloy 19" Medium Crash is a crash cymbal with a clean, bright sound character and a deep undertone. It is made at Meinl's German factory using computerized hammering and features a traditional finish. Volume and sustain sit at a medium level, making it easy to use in a variety of musical settings.

The Pure Alloy series is defined by a controlled, Central European sound character with a clear evenness to the tone. What Meinl calls "Shimmering Clarity". The sound is bright yet full, with a deep undertone that gives the crash both clarity and body. Pitch sits in the high-mid range, while timbre leans mid-dark.

Sound and Feel

The 19" size gives a balanced crash with medium volume (medium to low) and medium sustain. A cymbal that speaks clearly without overpowering the mix. The same series includes crash cymbals from 16" to 22", all sharing the same bright, clean core character. The series' ride cymbals offer a distinct, woody stick attack surrounded by a fine wash of overtones, while the hi-hats deliver a tight sound with a clear attack.

Who It's For

Pure Alloy suits players working in rock, pop, fusion, R&B, reggae or studio settings who want a clear, bright crash with controlled sustain and even response.
