Meinl Percussion Woodcraft Professional WCP100MH - Mahogany

Product Description

The Woodcraft Professional is a cajon from Meinl with a mahogany-finished front plate and a Baltic birch shell. The build gives a full, clear bass sound together with a distinct snare-like tone thanks to built-in snare wires mounted under the playing surface.

• Full bass sound with a clear top end thanks to the 12 mm thick shell
• Distinct snare sound from custom-made, vertically mounted snare wires under the front plate
• Rounded corners on the front plate for improved playing comfort
• Shell in Baltic birch (Betula pendula), 9 plies
• Front plate in mahogany finish

Sound and Feel

The 12 mm thick cajon shell in Baltic birch delivers a solid, clear bass sound without losing the top end. The custom-made snare wires are mounted vertically under the playing surface of the front plate, giving a clear, distinct snare-like tone when played near the edges. The rounded corners of the front plate are designed to maximize playing comfort during longer sessions.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a cajon with clear separation between bass and snare tones, especially if you play a lot near the edges where the snare wires stand out.
