Meinl Sonic Energy TCM Crystal Singing Bowl Set, 5 quartz bowls tuned to TCM frequencies. Includes carrying bags, wand and mallet.
Product Description
The TCM Crystal Singing Bowl Set from Meinl Sonic Energy is a set of five quartz singing bowls, developed together with Woodie Wulin, a Daoist priest and expert in TCM sound therapy. Each bowl is tuned to its own frequency linked to one of the five elements in Traditional Chinese Medicine, for relaxation and sound meditation.
- 5 crystal bowls, each tuned to a specific frequency
- Made from high-purity quartz
- Complete with crystal wand, mallet and storage for all bowls
The five elements
Each bowl represents an element and a specific feeling according to TCM philosophy:
- Earth. Helps you feel centered and grounded. Use when feeling scattered, nervous or unsteady.
- Metal. Connects to breath and voice. Helps with chest tightness, grief or blocked emotions.
- Wood. Releases stuck emotions. Good for anger, frustration or emotional tension.
- Fire. Calms the spirit. Helps with sleep issues and anxiety.
- Water. Restores deep energy and inner support. Use when tired, fearful or lacking strength.
Tuning and size per bowl
The bowls are tuned as follows, with respective diameter:
- Wood: 324 Hz (~E4), 25 cm diameter
- Fire: 384 Hz (~G4), 8" / 20 cm diameter
- Earth: 256 Hz (~C4), 25 cm diameter
- Metal: 288 Hz (~D4), 10" / 25 cm diameter
- Water: 432 Hz (~A4), 8" / 20 cm diameter
Material and included items
The bowls are made from gemstone (quartz) and come with accessories for playing and storage: a crystal silicone wand, a mallet designed for crystal singing bowls, silicone rings as a base for each bowl, plus bags and sleeves sized for each bowl.
Who It's For
A good choice for anyone working with sound healing, meditation or relaxation practices who wants a complete set of five different tones with matching storage in one delivery.
The manufacturer notes that TCM Crystal Singing Bowls are inspired by the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and are not a medical alternative.
