Product Description
The Meinl Spectrum Series Bongo (S400PBK) is a professional-grade bongo pair built from Siam Oak with True Skin Cow Head drumheads. The pair delivers a rich, clear and resonant tone, suited for recording, touring and jamming alike. The Phantom Black finish makes the hardware stand out visually, a signature trait of the whole Spectrum Series.
The set consists of a 7" macho and an 8 1/2" hembra drum, joined with a Free Ride Suspension System that lets the heads resonate freely without being dampened by body contact. The rims are 3mm rounded SSR-Rims, giving a comfortable grip and easing hand fatigue during longer sessions.
Construction
The shells are made from Siam Oak and fitted with True Skin Cow Head drumheads, a combination that gives the warm, full character associated with traditional bongos. The hardware is Meinl's own Spectrum Series type, finished in Phantom Black for a distinct visual look.
Included in delivery
A tuning key and Tune-up Oil for head maintenance are included with the bongo pair.
