Meinl Percussion Speaker Cajon MPSCAJ

Product Description

The Meinl Speaker Cajon MPSCAJ is a full-size cajon with two built-in 20 watt speakers, built for players who want to practice or perform along with music straight from the cajon. Stream wirelessly from your phone or connect via AUX, USB or a TF memory card, all controlled from a control panel on top.

• Two built-in 4.5" 20 watt speakers
• Wireless playback plus AUX, USB and TF card connectivity
• Top-mounted control panel for connection and volume
• Dual built-in snare wires and sound ports for a natural cajon sound
• Bass reflex system for extra low frequencies
• Baltic Birch (Betula pendula) front plate

Sound and Feel

Despite the speakers and electronics, the MPSCAJ plays like a regular acoustic cajon. Specifically like Meinl's own SC100 Snarecraft Cajon. The dual built-in snare wires and sound ports give a natural, distinct cajon sound, while the bass reflex system helps bring out extra low frequencies. The body is built from 7 layers of Baltic Birch (Betula pendula), 9 mm, with two internal sides.

Wireless and Connections

The speakers can be controlled wirelessly directly from your phone, or connected via AUX input, USB port or TF memory card. This makes the cajon a great tool for practicing along to songs, playing backing tracks, or adding loops while you play. All controlled from the top-mounted panel.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a genuine acoustic cajon combined with the ability to play back music or loops directly from the instrument, for example when practicing at home.
