Meinl Percussion Sonic Energy Binaural Therapy Tuning Fork Set, Beta

Product Description

The Meinl Sonic Energy Binaural Therapy Tuning Fork Set, Beta, is a tuning fork set for sound therapy that helps you actively guide your mind toward a more alert, focused state. The set consists of the Masterfork 128 Hz and the Beta fork 150 Hz, which together create a binaural effect when held against the left and right ear. A great choice for anyone working with sound therapy, mindfulness or personal relaxation who wants to move between different brainwave states.

• Creates a binaural effect that the brain perceives as a third frequency
• Beta frequency (12–30 Hz) is associated with alertness, concentration and analytical thinking
• Made from nickel-plated steel, larger and heavier than standard tuning forks
• Resonates for longer and needs to be struck less often during a session
• Comes with storage pouches and its own tuning fork holder

How binaural therapy works

To create the binaural effect, activate the Beta fork and the Masterfork 128 Hz at the same time and hold one against your left ear and the other against your right ear. The brain then perceives the difference between the two frequencies as a third, separate frequency, which can guide you into the desired brainwave state.

Beta. Focus and alertness

Beta frequencies, ranging from 12 Hz to 30 Hz, are the frequencies the brain normally operates in during everyday activities that require concentration, thinking and a degree of tension. This fork is therefore a good choice when you want to increase alertness and analytical sharpness rather than wind down.

The tuning forks are made from premium nickel-plated steel and are deliberately larger and heavier than standard tuning forks. This lets them resonate and sustain for longer, so you can keep a session going without needing to strike them as often.

Who it's for

A good fit for therapists, sound healers and individuals already using, or looking to start using, binaural tuning fork therapy who specifically want to work with alertness and focus via the Beta frequency.

Use caution regarding overstimulation for people with epilepsy or heart conditions.
