Meinl Percussion Pro SB Double Mallet, Felt & Rubber
Double-headed mallet in sapele wood for singing bowls, felt and rubber heads, 23.5 cm. Two tone characters, one mallet.
Product Description
A double mallet from Meinl Percussion, made for singing bowls and built in sapele wood. The mallet has two different heads, one in felt and one in rubber, letting you draw out different tone characters from the same bowl without switching mallets.
The felt head gives a softer, rounder tone, while the rubber head produces a clearer, more distinct attack. Simply turn the mallet around to choose the character you want, depending on the bowl and the sound you're after. Meinl offers these mallets in several wood types, head types and sizes, so you can match the mallet to your own singing bowls.
