Meinl Percussion KDC1NT

Product Description

The Meinl Kick Drum Cajon KDC1NT is a full-size Baltic birch cajon built to be played exactly like a real bass drum with a pedal. It has no snare wires for a clean, punchy kick sound and comes equipped to become the heart of an acoustic drum setup.

• Played with a bass drum pedal, just like a real kick drum
• Full-size cajon with no snare wires for a clean bass sound
• Cymbal arm and Z-shaped rod with mounts for expanding your setup
• Durable metal base plate secures the pedal
• Circular striking surface delivers a punchier low-end
• Includes the Meinl Soft Foam Cajon Beater (CPB4)

Build your acoustic drum setup

Two mounts on the cajon, together with the cymbal arm and the Z-shaped rod, let you add extras such as closed hi-hats and the Meinl Cajon Snare (sold separately). This makes the KDC1NT a flexible base for a compact acoustic kit.

Authentic kick drum feel

The durable metal base plate keeps your pedal firmly in place, and the circular striking surface is shaped to deliver a punchier low-end, close to the feel and sound of a real bass drum. The shell is full-size Baltic birch, and the absence of snare wires gives a clean kick sound free of buzz.
