Meinl Percussion Journey Series 6,5"+7,5" - Glacier Blue

Product Description

The Meinl Journey Series HB50GB is a bongo set with durable ABS shells in 6.5" (macho) and 7.5" (hembra) sizes, fitted with select buffalo skin heads. It's a great choice if you're just getting started on bongos, and thanks to the tough plastic shells it also works well for the touring percussionist.

• Durable ABS plastic shells
• Select buffalo skin heads on both drums
• Black hardware (black powder coated)
• Tuning key included
• Glacier Blue finish

The ABS shells make these bongos resistant to humidity and temperature changes, which suits playing outside the rehearsal room and travelling musicians. The select buffalo skins give a clear, warm tone on both drums.

Accessories and replacement heads

If a head ever needs replacing, replacement heads HHEAD6.5 (for the 6.5" drum) and HHEAD7.5 (for the 7.5" drum) are available. For a stand or bag, the Headliner bongo stand THBS-BK and Meinl bags MBB-BK and MSTBB1 are good matches.

Who It's For

Suits both the beginner wanting to start playing bongos and the percussionist who wants a rugged bongo to bring on tour.
