Sound and Construction

The two internal snare wires sit in the upper part of the front plate, giving the cajon its characteristic snappy, snare-like attack on top of the deeper bass tones lower down. The screws on the front plate let you adjust the tension against the snare wires, so you can fine-tune how much snare buzz comes through in the sound.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a cajon with snare character at an affordable price, whether it's your first cajon or a backup for the rehearsal space. Works well in acoustic settings where you want both bass drum sound and snare character from the same instrument.
