Meinl Percussion Drummer Snare Timbale 6" - Black, powder coated
6'' snare timbale in black powder-coated steel from Meinl Percussion, with adjustable snare mechanism and sharp snare sound.
Product Description
The Meinl Percussion Drummer Snare Timbale is a 6'' mini timbale in black powder-coated steel, built with a real snare mechanism for a distinct snare-drum edge. It's a great extra voice for your setup, whether you play latin, pop, or fusion.
With the snare wires engaged, the drum produces a sharp, clear snare effect, almost like a miniature snare drum. The snare mechanism is fast and simple to operate: switching to "throw off" mode makes the snare wires completely quiet and still, thanks to a special console that holds them in place. The result is a small but characterful mini timbale sound you can switch between on the fly.
The drum mounts easily on standard L-rods or tom holders using the included L-Rod Mounting Clamp, so it slots straight into an existing drum kit or percussion rack. Should the head ever need replacing, there's a dedicated replacement head for this model: TBLH6BK.
