Meinl Percussion Diego Galé Signature 11 3/4" - Midnight Star

Product Description

The Diego Galé Signature conga from Meinl Percussion (Midnight Star, DG1134MS) was developed together with Grammy-nominated producer and percussionist Diego Galé, who has played Afro-Cuban music since starting out on bongos as a young player. The shell is built from premium fiberglass and topped with a Remo® Black Calfskin Skyndeep head, a synthetic head that delivers the warm, authentic tone of calfskin without its sensitivity to humidity.

Tuning is handled by strong 10 mm tuning lugs, and the 4 mm rounded SSR-rim lets the hand glide smoothly over the edge on open tones and slaps. The hardware is chrome-plated and the shell has a high-gloss finish in Midnight Star.
