Meinl Percussion Diego Galé Artist Series Quinto 11" - Midnight Star
11" Quinto from Meinl's Diego Galé Artist Series, Midnight Star. Fiberglass shell with Remo Skyndeep head for stage and studio.
Product Description
An 11" quinto from Meinl Percussion's Diego Galé Artist Series, in the Midnight Star finish. A premium fiberglass shell paired with a Remo® Black Calfskin Skyndeep head, developed with Grammy-nominated producer, composer and percussionist Diego Galé to hold up on stage as well as in the studio.
Diego Galé has devoted his artistic life to Afro-Cuban music, blending it into his own musical voice. He started out on bongos at an early age before moving on to congas. The Artist Series instruments are shaped around what he personally demands from comfort, look, and sound.
Construction
The shell is premium fiberglass, 11" in diameter and 28" tall. The head is a Remo® Black Calfskin Skyndeep Head, fitted with 10 mm Strong Tuning Lugs and a 4 mm rounded SSR-Rim. The hardware is chrome-plated and the shell has a High-Gloss finish.
Included in Delivery
The drum ships with a Conga Saver, Soundpads, an accessory bag, a tuning key, and Tune-Up oil. A replacement head is available as the RHEAD-11BK.
