Sound and Tuning

The drum is tuned around the reference note A4/a' at 432 Hz, with the notes G3, Bb3, C4, Eb4, F4, G4, Bb4 and C5 in C minor. This gives a round, relaxed sound where every note works well together, no matter how you combine them. Ideal if you want to play intuitively without hitting a wrong note.

Feel and Use

Thanks to its compact size, the drum can be placed on your lap or any flat surface. Play with your fingers for a soft, organic tone, or use the included yarn-wrapped rubber mallets with wooden handles for a clearer attack and more resonance. It makes a great companion for travel, meditation practice, or a relaxed jam session at home.

Construction

The top shell is made from stainless steel while the bottom shell is steel, giving the drum both durability and a warm, resonant tone.

Who It's For
