Meinl Percussion Binaural Therapy Tuning Fork Set, Theta

Product Description

A binaural tuning fork set from Meinl Sonic Energy for sound healing and brainwave entrainment. The set pairs a 128 Hz Masterfork with a 134 Hz Theta tuning fork to guide you into a deeper state of relaxation.

The forks are made from nickel-plated steel and are larger and heavier than standard tuning forks. This lets them resonate longer and need to be struck less often during a treatment session.

How binaural therapy works

To create the binaural effect, activate the Masterfork and the Theta tuning fork together and hold one against each ear. The brain perceives the difference between the two frequencies as a third, underlying frequency, guiding you into the desired brainwave state.

The Theta state

Theta waves range from 4 Hz to 8 Hz and are linked to a deeper state of relaxation. They can increase creativity and intuition while reducing stress and anxiety, and are described as the state where the door to the subconscious begins to open.
