Meinl Percussion Binaural Therapy Tuning Fork Set, Alpha

Product Description

The Meinl Sonic Energy Binaural Therapy Tuning Fork Set, Alpha, is a tuning fork set for sound therapy that helps you tune into a calmer brainwave state. The set includes a Masterfork at 128 Hz and an Alpha fork at 139 Hz, which together create a binaural effect when held to each ear.

The forks are made from premium nickel-plated steel and are larger and heavier than standard tuning forks. This lets them resonate for longer and be struck less often during a session.

How the binaural effect works

Activate the Masterfork (128 Hz) and the Alpha fork (139 Hz) and hold them to your right and left ear. The brain perceives the difference between the two frequencies as a third, underlying frequency, guiding you into the desired brainwave state.

The Alpha state

Alpha waves, roughly 8–12 Hz, are linked to a relaxed, calm state of mind. They support relaxation while awake, help reduce stress and can improve learning.

Who It's For

A good choice for sound therapists, mindfulness practitioners and anyone who wants binaural stimulation as a concrete tool in relaxation work.

Note: use caution regarding overstimulation for people with epilepsy or heart conditions.
