Meinl Percussion Benny Greb Signature TamboStep

Product Description

The Meinl Benny Greb Signature TamboStep is a "handsfree tambourine" played with your foot via any bass drum pedal. Its sandblasted, solid brass jingles deliver a dry, vintage tone with sharp response, making it perfect for multi-instrumentalists, guitarists and cajon players who want an extra rhythmic layer without using their hands.

• Sandblasted solid brass jingles for a dry, vintage tone
• Played with the foot, freeing up your hands for another instrument
• Clear, articulated sound suited to modern music styles
• Compact, practical size
• Mount, Z-shaped L-rod and beater included
• Works with all bass drum pedals

Construction and Function

The TamboStep is mounted using the included bracket and a Z-shaped L-rod, and struck by a beater specifically designed for short sustain and a strong jingle response. Giving you precise, exact rhythms instead of blurred ones. The instrument was developed together with Meinl artist Benny Greb, built around his own signature sandblasted jingles.

Note that the pedal is not included. The TamboStep works with all standard bass drum pedals, so you simply use the one you already have.

Who It's For

A unique addition for drummers looking for new, exciting grooves, as well as guitarists and other musicians who want to add a rhythmic layer with their foot while their hands are busy.
