Meinl Percussion Artisan Bulería Line - Tulip (natural)

Product Description

The Meinl Artisan Bulería Line cajon is hand-built in Spain with extra focus on the details that shape both sound and feel. The birch plywood shell and a special bass reflex system deliver full bass, while dual snare strings add crisp clarity to fingerplay.

• Crisp fingerplay thanks to two groups of snare strings
• Full bass from the special bass reflex system
• Ergonomically rounded corners for comfortable playing
• Specially designed rubber feet for stability

Sound and Feel

The front plate has a Tulip (natural) finish and sits on a shell built from 9 layers of birch plywood (Betula pendula), 12 mm thick. This gives the cajon good dynamics and a clear balance between the treble and bass registers, so you can hear the difference between ghost notes, fingerplay and accented bass tones. The two groups of 5 vertical snare strings add the extra clarity in fingerplay that the Artisan series is known for.

Dimensions and Construction

The cajon is approximately 48 cm tall, 30 cm wide and 30 cm deep. The corners are ergonomically rounded for comfortable playing, and the rubber feet are specially designed for stability. A tuning key is included. The cajon fits the MDLXCJB or MCJB bag (sold separately).
