Meinl Jr. Djembe, 7" in Twisted Amber. Compact rope-tuned djembe with ABS shell and synthetic head, big sound in a small size.
Product Description
The Meinl Jr. Djembe is a compact rope-tuned djembe in the Twisted Amber finish, built to deliver a good sound despite its travel-friendly size. The shell is lightweight ABS and the head is a durable synthetic head suited for outdoor play.
- Compact size, easy to carry
- Deep bass tone and clear slap
- Synthetic head that holds its tuning well
- Withstands outdoor playing
Sound and Feel
Despite its small size, this djembe delivers a full sound with a deep bass tone and a clear, distinct slap. The synthetic head is durable and tuning-stable, and holds up better outdoors than a traditional head. Great if you want to play outside or bring the drum along on a trip.
Construction
The shell is made from ABS plastic, keeping the djembe light to carry while remaining sturdy. It is rope-tuned with 14 rope hooks that keep the head tensioned and allow fine tuning of the pitch.
Who It's For
A great option if you want a real djembe without the bulk. Suited for practicing at home as well as bringing along to the beach, camp, or rehearsal space.
