Meinl Percussion Jr. Djembe 7"x12,5" - Pharaoh's Script

Product Description

The Meinl Jr. Djembe JRD-PS is a compact rope-tuned djembe measuring 7" in diameter and 12.5" in height, finished with the patterned Pharaoh's Script design. It's small enough to bring along on the road while still delivering a real djembe sound, thanks to a lightweight ABS shell and a durable synthetic head.

• Compact size that's easy to carry
• Deep tone with a clear slap
• Synthetic head that holds tuning and withstands outdoor play
• Durable, lightweight ABS shell
• 14 rope tuning points

Sound and Feel

The synthetic head is built to hold its tuning even under tougher conditions, such as outdoor play. Despite its compact size, it delivers a deep bass tone and a clear, distinct slap sound.

Construction

The shell is made from ABS plastic, making the drum easy to carry while holding up better than a wooden shell under wear. The head is tensioned and tuned via 14 rope points around the shell.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a small, sturdy djembe to bring to rehearsal, on the road, or for outdoor play, without compromising on sound.
