Meinl Percussion Jr. Djembe 7" - Green

Product Description

The Meinl Jr. Djembe is a small, compact rope-tuned djembe with a lightweight ABS shell, ideal for taking along on your travels. Its size makes it easy to pack, while the head is built to handle outdoor playing.

With a 7" diameter and a height of 12 1/2", this is a mini-sized djembe made for players who want a real hand drum without it taking up much space in their luggage. The shell is made from synthetic ABS, which keeps the drum light to carry and more resistant to moisture and temperature changes than a traditional wood shell, a real advantage when the instrument gets used in different environments.

The djembe has 14 rope tuning points for traditional rope tuning, and the head is built to tolerate outdoor play, so it works just as well around a campfire as it does in the rehearsal room or at home.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a small, portable djembe for travel, the beach, or camping, or as a first rope-tuned djembe in a compact size.
