Meinl HCS Practice Set 14"/16"/20"

Product Description

The Meinl HCS Practice Set is a cymbal package for anyone who wants to practice anytime without disturbing family or neighbors. The set includes a 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride, all made from the same brass alloy as the regular HCS cymbals but with a unique hole pattern that lowers the volume significantly while keeping an authentic feel.

• Low volume, ideal for practicing at home
• Retains genuine cymbal sound and natural playing feel
• Includes a 14" hi-hat, 16" crash and 20" ride
• Made from MS63 brass alloy (the same alloy as the HCS series)
• Shaped with Shaping Pressure Point Technology

Sound Character

The hole pattern was developed by Meinl to remove volume from the cymbal without making the sound artificial. The result is a high-mid pitch with short sustain and a dry, complex character at low volume. You keep the attack and feel of a real cymbal, just much quieter.

Who It's For

A good choice if you practice in an apartment, want to play late at night, or just want to sit down at the kit without waking the neighbors. Also works well as an extra practice set for the rehearsal room.
