Meinl HCS Expander Cymbal Set - Traditional

Product Description

The Meinl HCS Expander Cymbal Set is a complete six-piece cymbal pack that covers all the key cymbal sounds in a drum kit. The set expands a standard setup with a splash, an extra crash and a china, giving you a wide range of sounds straight out of the box. The cymbals are made from MS63 brass alloy and deliver a sound quality well above what the price suggests.

The set includes:

• 1 x HCS 10" Splash
• 1 x HCS 14" Hats
• 1 x HCS 16" Crash
• 1 x HCS 16" China
• 1 x HCS 18" Crash
• 1 x HCS 20" Ride

The cymbals have a hammered pattern and are professionally lathed, which lifts both the sound and the look. With Pressure Point Technology and a classic brass alloy you get a warm, harmonic tone with medium-short sustain and medium-low volume. That makes the set stable and easy to play across several styles, such as pop and rock, and a great first setup for beginners.

Who It's For

A good choice if you're putting together your first drum kit or want to expand a simpler setup with more sounds without spending on pro-level cymbals.
