Meinl Percussion Alpine Series 12" - Barnwood

Product Description

The Meinl Alpine Series Djembe is an ultra-light synthetic djembe with a striking Barnwood finish. It's tunable, handles changing weather far better than a wood djembe, and is a smart choice for outdoor playing or travel where a low-maintenance drum matters.

• Ultra-light construction, easy to carry and travel with
• Synthetic head holds tuning regardless of humidity
• Stable, mechanical tuning system
• Replaceable head, easy to swap if needed
• Durable finish that wipes clean

Sound and Feel

The shape gives a good balance between bass and a crisp top end, with plenty of dynamic range. Despite its light build, the drum is made to last, and the synthetic head keeps it unaffected by the humidity shifts that can throw a wood djembe out of tune.

Who It's For

A great fit if you play outdoors, travel a lot, or simply want a djembe that handles tougher conditions than a traditional wood drum, without sacrificing tone.
