Product Description
Meinl Artisan Edition Tongo Carved Wood Djembe (AE-DJTC1-L) is a 12" djembe carved from solid grown mahogany, with a selected goat skin head and a distinct carved pattern on the shell. It delivers deep bass tones and clear, distinct slaps, and suits players who want a djembe with extra character and hand-crafted finish.
The series comes in two versions: one with a decorative colored rope wrap and one with a painted decorative motif directly on the body. The goat skin head (HEAD-105) is rope-tuned, so you tune it by hand without a key. A strong rubber base protects against scratches on floors and stages.
