The Meinl Artisan Edition Doumbek 8 3/4" is handmade in Egypt and decorated with mosaic art and mother-of-pearl inlay in the White Pearl finish. The drum is built in aluminium with a synthetic head and comes with a tuning key.
Head And Shape
The head is attached and tuned in a way that gives a more rounded shape compared to a Darbuka. It suits music from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe. Replacement heads available are HEAD-136, HEAD-137 and HEAD-138.

A bag is not included. The doumbek fits Meinl's bags MDOB, MDOB-L and MSTDOB, so you can find a separate solution for transport.
