ProMark 5A Rebound lönn round tip

Product Description

Maple Rebound 5A Round Tip is a pair of maple drumsticks from the Select Balance series, size 5A with an Acorn wood tip. The sticks have a longer, thinner neck with the weight shifted further back, giving extra rebound and a lighter feel when playing.

Construction

The sticks are 16" long with a diameter of 0.565" and a 3" long neck. The longer neck shifts the weight further back on the stick, which is meant to give extra rebound and a lighter feel in play. The tip is a wood tip of the Acorn type.

Feel

The combination of a longer neck and shifted weight makes the sticks suited to dynamic playing. Maple as a material contributes to the lighter feel in the hand compared to heavier types of wood.

Matching

Each pair is matched with a maximum weight difference of 1.5 grams between the sticks. The pairs are also pitch matched, with a tolerance of max 6hz, which corresponds to about a quarter tone step in difference.

Manufacturing

The sticks are produced at their own sawmill, where the control follows all the way from sawmill to finished product. This makes it possible to keep the same measurements and weight throughout production.
