Mapex T870 14" - Chrome

Product Description

The Mapex T870 is a round drum throne with a backrest, built for players who spend long gigs or practice sessions on the stool and want to stay comfortable throughout. The seat is extra padded and covered in soft vinyl, and unlike the more common saddle-shaped throne, the T870 keeps a traditional round seat shape. The four double-braced legs keep it stable even during intense playing.

Comfortable seat, solid base

The round seat is 14" (356 mm) in diameter and 4" (102 mm) thick, with generous padding under the vinyl cover. That gives a softer, more comfortable sit than many thinner thrones, especially over long sets. The four legs are double-braced for extra stability, and the rubber feet are slip-proof, keeping the throne steady on hard floors.

Stepless height adjustment

Height is set by twisting the seat, a classic threaded design that gives stepless adjustment without levers or handles. This lets you fine-tune the height in very small increments until the position feels exactly right. Height range is 50.8cm to 66 cm. The threaded center post locks in two places and stays firmly in place even during hard playing.

Backrest for long sessions

The backrest makes the T870 especially suited for long gigs or heavy practice routines, letting you relax your back between songs without switching to a saddle-style seat you don't enjoy.
