Seat and comfort

The saddle-shaped seat is covered in durable, ventilated fabric that gives a cooler feel during long playing sessions. The outer sections and accents are in brown faux leather, giving the throne a stylish, slightly upscale look that stands out from standard black thrones.

Adjustment and build

The T855BR is a classic spin-style throne: you adjust the height by spinning the seat, which lets you dial in exactly the right height in small, precise increments. The threaded center post is then locked in place with a clamp and stays firmly secured. The double-braced legs (3 legs) and sturdy Slip-Proof rubber feet keep the throne standing steady even during more physical playing.

Who it's for

A solid choice if you want a stable, comfortable drum throne with a bit more style than the standard models, and if you play long enough sessions to appreciate a ventilated seat.
