The Mapex SF1000 is a snare stand from the Falcon series, Mapex's range of high-end hardware for studio, tour and rehearsal use. The stand is built for simple adjustment and stable positioning, with a centered basket that improves balance even with heavier snare drums.

Simplicity of Adjustment and Position

The basket is centered directly over the stand base. This improves the balance of heavier drums and allows unobstructed positioning of the feet between the pedals. The adjustable base height lets the entire center tube and basket drop down fully, providing room for the added height of deeper snares.

Stable Under Aggressive Play

The high-friction rubber feet have retractable spikes for use on rugs or mats, stopping the stand from shifting during aggressive play. Double-braced, 360-degree rotating legs add further stability, and the centered ball joint makes it easy to angle the basket exactly as you want it.
