Mapex Saturn VI SR628XUZXG is a shell pack in Maple/Walnut, supplied as a 5-piece set in Black Ink Burst finish. The drums give a solid low end, warm and rich tone, a big and beautiful sound, and a distinct, clear attack.
Sizes And Construction
The set consists of a bass drum in 22"x18" along with toms in 10"x7", 12"x8", 14"x12" and 16"x14". The shells are lacquered and the edges are cut with SONIClear Bearing Edge.
Hardware And Suspension
The toms hang in SONIClear tom suspension and the hoops are pressed Triple-Flange Power Hoops. The hardware is chrome and the floor toms stand on SAS Static 90° floor tom legs with Sonic Pedestal Foot isolation gaskets. Nodal Line Air Flow Venting lets air escape from the shell.
Sound and Feel
