Mapex PF1000

Product Description

The Mapex PF1000 is a bass drum pedal from the Falcon series, Mapex's line of high-end hardware for professionals in the studio, on tour and in the rehearsal space. The pedal is dialed in at the factory for a smooth feel right out of the bag, and thanks to interchangeable drives you can fine-tune how it responds under your foot.

• Self-Adjusting Hoop Clamp
• Dual-sided beater with interchangeable weights
• Interchangeable drives (chain, strap, direct)
• Footboard height adjustment
• Reduced base plate size
• Beater angle adjustment

Interchangeable drives

The pedal's drive can be swapped, letting you experience the difference between chain, strap and direct drive feel without buying multiple pedals. Double-pedal players can combine different drives on the left and right foot to balance the feel between them.

Fine-tuning power and feel

The beater is dual-sided and comes with interchangeable weights, and together with adjustable footboard height and beater angle it's easy to fine-tune both torque and power to taste. The smaller base plate makes it easier to position a double pedal around snare stand legs and closer to the hi-hat pedal.

Who It's For

The PF1000 suits players who want a pedal that feels great right away but can also be dialed in in detail, whether you play in the studio, on stage or at home in the rehearsal space.
