Mapex P600

Product Description

The Mapex P600 is a simple, rugged bass drum pedal from the Mars series, built for drummers who want to lighten their hardware without giving up feel. Double chain drive gives a solid, consistent stroke and great durability, and the pedal comes with a 2-sided Falcon beater with no added weights.

• Double chain for a more solid feel and great durability
• Newly designed footboard for high-speed playing
• Falcon beater, 2-sided, no weights
• Retractable floor spikes
• Solid setting base plate
• Extended footboard length

Feel and durability

The double chain drive gives the pedal a more solid feel underfoot compared to simpler belt-driven models, while holding up better during heavy playing. The newly designed footboard is built for fast playing, and the extended length gives you more room to work with your foot.

Beater and setup

The Falcon beater is 2-sided and comes without weights, so you can choose whichever side gives you the response you're after. Retractable floor spikes and a solid base plate keep the pedal firmly in place even during hard playing.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to upgrade your hardware without spending on an advanced double pedal system, or if you're after a reliable, lightweight pedal for your first or second kit.
