Construction and practical features

The removable legs serve two purposes: they let you attach the stand to a second bass drum using an AC906 clamp, and they make it easier to fit the stand into a gig bag for transport. A clamp on the tube also secures the footboard in its folded position, so nothing rattles or unfolds while you're carrying or transporting your gear.

The footboard height is adjustable, and combined with the wide-range tension adjuster you get an extensive spread of feels and pedal positions, whether you prefer a loose or a tight hi-hat. The smaller base-plate also makes it easier to position the hi-hat footboard closer to a double pedal.
