The Mapex Comet CM5044FTCDK is a complete 5-piece drum set in black finish, built for anyone starting out as a drummer. The kit includes hardware, cymbals and a throne – everything needed to set up and start playing right away.

The shells are made from 9-ply poplar (7.2 mm) with Mapex SONIClear™ bearing edges, giving a cleaner tone and easier tuning – especially useful for players without years of tuning experience. The 20" bass drum is deliberately a bit smaller than a standard 22", allowing the toms to be lowered further to suit shorter or younger players.

Construction and adjustability
