Product Description
Ludwig Black Beauty is a snare drum in brass with a seamless, hammered shell. It gives a warm, round metallic tone with an explosive attack that cuts through, steady body and quick recovery.
Construction
The shell is machine drawn from a single sheet of brass, 2mm thick, and finished in black nickel plating. The hoops are 3mm steel with triple flanged construction, and the drum has 10 lugs. The brass gives a full warmth and strong presence to the tone.
Function
The drum has a P88AC Throw Off that handles the snare mechanism, along with a P35P Butt Plate as the anchoring point on the opposite side.
Included
A Ludwig Weather Master Medium Coated head is included as batter head, along with a Ludwig Weather Master Clear as the resonant head.
