Product Description
The Ludwig Continental Zep Set Plus in Green Sparkle is an intermediate drum kit three years in the making, developed by an international team of drum experts specifically for the European market. Its hybrid maple shell delivers a focused tone that sets it apart, drawing on the same colourful sound palette found in Ludwig's US-made kits. Based on classic Ludwig designs, Continental is configured in sizes tailored to European players.
The shells are built from 7-ply hybrid maple with a total thickness of 7.2mm, giving the kit its distinctive focus. Remo heads are fitted throughout.
Construction and hardware
The bass drum hoops feature a wrap finish with a natural inlay and a matching natural satin finish. Tom mounting is handled via Vibraband (optional). Hardware is EU-selected: claws, spurs, brackets and lugs, along with 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops on the remaining drums.
Kit sizes
The set is configured as: 26"x14" bass drum, 18"x16" floor tom, 16"x16" floor tom, 14"x10" tom and 14"x6.5" snare.
