Ludwig Continental - Green Sparkle

Product Description

Three years in development, the Ludwig Continental series was created by an international team of drum experts to deliver an intermediate kit suited to any performance and tailored to the European market. Its hybrid shell offers a focus and colourful tonal palette similar to Ludwig's US-manufactured kits, in sizes specified for European players. This shell pack arrives in a Green Sparkle finish and is sold without a snare drum.

The 3pc configuration includes a 22x16in bass drum (undrilled), a 12x8in tom and a 16x16in floor tom. The shell is a 7-ply hybrid construction with a total thickness of 7.2mm, giving the kit both focus and a warm, versatile character.

Construction and Hardware

All heads are Remo: the tom uses a UT Coated Emperor batter head with a UT Ambassador resonant head, while the bass drum features a UT Coated PS3 batter head and a white coated logo resonant head. The bass drum hoops are natural with matching inlay, and the tom/floor tom use 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops. The tom is mounted using a rail mount with Vibraband to reduce unwanted resonance transfer to the shell. The bass drum features EU-selected claws and distinctive Gull Wing spurs.

Who It's For

The Continental is a great fit for players wanting an intermediate kit with European-specific sizing and a focused sound that holds up across settings, from rehearsal rooms to smaller stages.
