Ludwig Continental Club Downbeat - White Marine Pearl
Ludwig Continental Club Downbeat shell pack in White Marine Pearl, with hybrid cherry shells for powerful attack and long sustain.
Product Description
Built from the foundations of the widely popular Club Date SE series, the Continental Club Downbeat features a Hybrid Cherry shell construction that really packs a punch and offers long sustain reminiscent of classic Ludwig kits. A combination of specially selected parts, signature long lugs and portable shell sizes makes the Continental Club a convenient step up from a beginner kit, whether you're playing in the rehearsal room, on stage or in the studio.
The shells are built from 7 plies of Hybrid Cherry with a total thickness of 7.2mm, giving both attack and sustain. The kit ships with Remo heads fitted from the factory. The bass drum hoop is natural wood with a matching inlay, and the tom is mounted via a rail mount system with Vibrabrand to reduce unwanted resonance at the mount. The bass drum spurs are Gull Wing style with matching brackets, and the shells are held together with claws. The lugs are 2.3mm with triple-flanged hoops.
Who It's For
A great choice if you already have a beginner kit and want to step up in quality, without jumping straight to a professional-level kit. The portable shell sizes make it easy to bring along to different settings.
