Product Description
The Ludwig Continental 22" is a 4-piece drum kit in hybrid maple, three years in development by an international team of drum experts. Built on classic Ludwig design, it's an intermediate series aimed at any performance and specified in size configurations suited to the European player.
- Hybrid maple shell delivering a focused sound like no other
- Natural finish hoop with matching inlay for a clean, cohesive look
- EU-selected claws, spurs, brackets and lugs
- Remo heads fitted from the factory
- Flexible tom mounting with optional Vibraband
Construction
The shells are built from 7 plies of hybrid maple, with a total shell thickness of 7.2mm, giving the Continental series its focused tone. The hoops are 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops finished in natural with matching inlay, and the shells carry a Natural Satin finish with a matching hoop. Tom mounting uses the optional Vibraband system. Claws, spurs, brackets and lugs are all EU-selected for the European market.
